Camp Elim Service Project

Camp Elim’s location is in the heart of the Pike National Forest not far from Woodland Park and provides a beautiful setting for growth and instruction in Biblical principles.

Camp Elim offers a friendly, safe, and fun environment in which youth and adults develop lasting friendships with other campers and with the caring staff.

Some of our ElkStone employees were fortunate enough to be able to give back to a place where they had been coming for years as kids and now take their own children to this special camp. We were able to work at the camp alongside not only one another, but individuals who have long been serving at the camp. It was quite an experience for all involved.

ElkStone is blessed with having employees who possess outstanding skills and can build and create amazing things out of just a few nails, screws, and wood.

Between sharing the prepared meals with the volunteers and staff to sitting around by the fire at night making jokes, and getting busy building 2 sheds, landscaping, wood wagon with benches, main access ramp, wood walkway, and painted doors, it was so incredible to see the end results of these projects and how the efforts will contribute to the camp.

We were all ready for a nap afterwards,
but it was a rewarding experience.

Great day working with such a fantastic group of people!
